LOVELY SPA with beautiful surroundings in Northern Minnesota! If you are looking for a great weekend get-away with friends, family or your significant other, Nisswa has something to offer for everyone. It's an especially great place if you want to send the guys out golfing and have the ladies spend the day at the spa. My girlfriend and I did just that. We only had time for pedicures and massages, but they were both very nice and well worth the time. Only negative....the price was a bit steep and the front desk person was rather snooty. Also...it can be tough to get in if you are trying to book on the same day during their busy summer season. Book your spa appts when you book your trip so you can get the services you want, when you want them.

Take some extra time to relax in their tranquility room. It will bring you to another place!

What a beautiful spa! When I first walked into the reception area, I was concerned that it was going to feel a bit too cold to be an enjoyable spa visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a very warm and inviting spa atmosphere. The facilities and amenities are all new...so it feels like you're using the towels, robes, etc... all for the first time. It's luxurious!

I waited for my facial in the relaxation room. Comfortable seating and a beautiful fireplace made it a wonderfully cozy experience. Although my esthetician was young and didn't have too many years of experience, she did an excellent job with my facial. I was a bit disappointed since I had asked for someone with more experience, but it turned out ok in the end.

I have had a few massages, a pedicure and a few hair cuts at Spalon Montage in Edina. I have always had a great experience with each visit to Spalon. My massages have been incredible here! Although it's quite loud in the salon area, I expect that atmosphere in a salon. They have done an amazing job to create a relaxing atmosphere in their spa area. They have a nice relaxation room where you feel like you've really escaped. It's wonderful.

The only small negative is that I don't think they do a great job of catering to men. I got my husband a massage for a birthday gift and I was laughing hysterically when he came out of the locker room in what looked like a woman's robe and slippers. They must expect men will visit their spa and they should consider larger sizes for them. He felt foolish sitting in the relaxation room in a robe that barely covered him up.

WOW! The town of Warren, VT is adorable and quaint. If you are looking for an escape from big city living and want to be pampered, you MUST visit Alta Day Spa. Right next to the whimisical Pitcher Inn, Alta Day Spa is not something I would pass by! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and they have a reputation all over the valley for great massages and speciality facials. Well worth the visit!!!!

This spa and entire resort is absolutely amazing! The spa staff is extraordinary...you will be well taken care of here!!
